We had not been out for Sunday lunch as a family for a little while so decided to see what was around this weekend. We were looking to going somewhere where we had not been before so we booked a table at the Wine Bar & Grill on Queen Street in Gillingham.

Their website did not have a Sunday menu so we were not sure what to expect. It turned out they only did carvery on Sundays which suited us fine. Beef, turkey and pork were all on offer, children chose one each and both us adults asked for all of them.

We all enjoyed our lunches. The Wine Bar & Grill’s dining area was pretty full and as the dining area is not very large I think it was good that we had booked. It almost has a feel that you are sitting in someone’s dining room at home and having dinner served.

The food is very reasonably priced, children’s portions are charged less than adults. Only me and my daughter could manage desserts after our full plates of roast dinners. My daughter had ice cream and I had chocolate fudge cake with raspberry ripple ice cream.
