We have visited the Udder Farm Shop and cafe plenty of times but this is the first time I went in thinking about writing a review after a friend of mine suggested we meet there for lunch. As the Udder Farm shop is located on the A30 few miles from Shaftesbury towards Sherborne (in East Stour) it is convinient place to meet up, have lunch and do shopping too.
They have tables and children’s play area outside in addition to the cafe. As the weather was not great we got a table inside the cafe (we visited last week). We had to wait a little while for a table to be free but we were happy looking around the newly extended farm shop.
The menu has plenty of options to choose from. There are sandwiches, paninis and cooked meals. For review purposes we did not do well as we chose the same toasted sandwich!
We both had goats cheese and grilled vegetables toasted sandwiches which were served with fresh salad and crips. The Udder Farm shop cafe is very reasonably priced. And if you did not want to go there for lunch they do great breakfast (which I have had when visiting in the past). There are also plenty of cakes! Staff are friendly and service is good.
