It was a great privilege to be invited along to the launch party of Rolly’s Brownies online store www.rollysbrownies.co.uk, held at the Acqua Beach Hotel. The launch was organised by In The Bag (In the Bag bring fresh, innovative & powerful ideas to your product or business)
Helen Rollinson (Rolly’s Brownies) bakes cakes the way they should be baked, with care, by hand and in small batches. Helen’s recipes have been perfected over many years with several of them having been passed down through generations of her family.

There are five flavours of brownie to choose from Peppermint, chilli, orange, double choc (chocolate chip) and caramel, you can also choose them gluten free if you prefer. All baked fresh to order using locally sourced ingredients where possible, including free range eggs from Sherborne, organic stoneground flour from Stoate and Sons in Shaftesbury and butter from Craig’s Farm Dairy in Osmington. I tasted all five gooey flavours and the chocolate chip brownies are fabulous but for a true brownie hit try the caramel brownies – sensationally opulent!
The packaging is such that Rolly’s Brownies will make a wonderful gift (they are posted inside a tube to ensure they reach you perfectly), P&P is also included in the price. Helen will also deliver free of charge to local shops & cafes (DT4 & DT5) and where possible using her bike!
Helen won Best Sweet Bakery Product in the Taste of the West 2012 for Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies and Silver Award Winning Chocolate Orange Brownies and I feel she has a lot more awards heading her way………..
