I was hungry & thirsty after helping to spring clean the River Frome ready for the trout season which starts next month! My daughter in law had told me how eclectic and quirky ReLoved Tea Rooms are, so I headed there for a coffee & sandwich.

Well it is certainly quirky, the shop downstairs is rammed full on vintage objet d’art and knickknacks! The tea rooms are upstairs and this is equally full of vintage & collectable goodies. As I made my way to a spare table I could tell immediately this is a favourite domain of ‘woman who lunch’!!!

ReLoved, Dorchester

The room is very light and airy with a gentle hum of ladies chatting and enjoying their food. I ordered a coffee & selected a Hot & Chunky Chicken sandwich from their specials board. This is a family run business and they pride themselves on serving wholesome homemade ‘with love’ food.

ReLoved, Dorchester

As fits the ambience of this tea room, the coffee came in a vintage cup and saucer. The sandwich was great, nice chunks (as it said) of warm chicken in wonderful soft brown bread, great little salad with a simple dressing.

ReLoved, Dorchester

Yes this is the place to head if you want a coffee break from shopping or a light lunchtime meal, they are also open Mothers Day, but I would book early as it is sure to be full!
