It was lovely day on Friday so we decided to try lunch out at Pythouse Kitchen Garden Cafe. It is situated just across the border in Wiltshire near Tisbury. The cafe itself is lovely and the large conservatory doubles the space available and there are further tables outside in the garden. We chose to sit down in the conservatory by the open windows. Most tables were filled and they seemed busy.
Service was excellent. We didn’t ask for any recommendations as we both were able to choose from the menu easily.
I guessed husband would choose ploughman’s and I was correct. I had Vegetarian Mezze Pitta.
Food certainly was excellent. My dish proved that vegetarian food can be very tasty. Neither us chose any desserts this time. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, lovely food and great service. Pythouse is a fabulous spot for a summer’s day out. They have large gardens and also do pick your own flowers, vegetables and berries.
