If you follow us on Instagram you know we like our coffees and little cafes. We were invited to create a travel guide for Townske sharing some of our favourite spots in North Dorset. We started with few (and have promised to expand) so here’s what we have shared so far:

The Grosvenor Arms

High St, Shaftesbury
The Grosvenor Arms is a great place to pop in for a coffee, catch up with friends and relax on the sofas.

Indulge Bakery & Confections

58a High St, Shaftesbury
A very small cafe with friendly service and great selection of homemade cakes. Sit by the window and watch life on the High Street while enjoying coffee, and don’t forget to try the cakes! Lunches are pretty good too.
Tea Sympathy at Goldhill Organics Farm
Ridgeway Lane, Child Okeford
The recently opened cafe at Goldhill Organic farm is our latest discovery. It’s located in a small village called Child Okeford not too far from Shaftesbury so do make the journey! Those cakes made by the owner, Sharon, are worth the trip! Also there are other businesses on the farm, including The Art Stable.

Pythouse Kitchen Garden Cafe

Pythouse Kitchen garden and cafe is actually across the border in Wiltshire but it’s pretty close to Shaftesbury so it’s not to be missed if you are in the area. Pop in for coffee, lunch or try their Sunday brunches.
The whole guide can be found at Townske.
