Welcome to Taste of the South 2018, a festival in it’s second year that will take place on 21st and 22nd July with a brand new destination – Chapel Gate Christchurch, set in the spectacular and secluded surroundings, which makes an ideal back drop for a festival.
The festival location is adjacent to Bournemouth Airport and is easily accessible from the A338 as well as Wimborne, Ferndown, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and surrounding areas.
Leigh’s annual FOOD FAIR & VINTAGE/CLASSIC CAR DISPLAY returns for it’s 13th year with a wonderful selection of stall holders selling a wide array of excellent local produce
We celebrate local food & drink and artistic creativity in Dorset.
We have over 520 trade stand exhibitors there is an enormous choice from the cradle to the grave, from schools & further education to fitness and medical advice, home improvement to cars, trucks & 4×4’s, handicrafts & gifts to food glorious food to eat in or take home, plus of course over 100 stands of tractors, machinery and farming suppliers.
The Melplash Agricultural Society Show is one of the South West’s premier agricultural exhibitions and is held at The West Bay Show grounds, Bridport, Dorset
The third annual Dorchester Cider Festival returns to Borough Gardens on Saturday 18th August at 15:00.
A FREE family friendly celebration of the regions finest cider producers, special guests, great food and live music throughout the day.
Meet and be served by our guest cider makers and sample over 75 of their award winning tipples, from delicate elderflower infusions to leg wobbling scrumpy and everything in-between, all in the towns relaxed Victorian park atmosphere.
We’re delighted to confirm our Festival will return next August Bank Holiday. Hugh will be on stage and generally hanging out to soak up the special festival vibes. We can’t wait.
The Show formed in 1840, the year that Thomas Hardy was born, Cunard Ships launched a transatlantic Shipping Line, the Penny Black Stamp was issued and a group of local farmers advertised the 1st Annual Exhibition on 6th August 1840; forming The Dorchester Agricultural Society.

The Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival is a charitable event celebrating Dorset’s inseparable links with the sea and its fishing communities and takes place around Weymouth’s historic Old Harbour.
