The long Easter weekend is a great chance to spend time with friends and family and what better way than over some delicious food. I have done some research and put together a list of some of East Dorset’s great eateries and the special deals they have on offer. With so many to choose from, I have split the list into different options to make it a little easier to peruse.

Urban Reef – excellent coffee, a mighty fine full english and an unrivalled view of the sea – sounds like the perfect morning to me!

Bosconova – This place has my favourite flat white, a large breakfast menu …and delicious pancakes – yum.

Coffee & Dice – wonderful coffee, a delicious range freshly made sandwiches and Easter bakes, local beers and ciders and more 600 board games, what better way to while away the time on the long weekend?

Real Food Bournemouth – A new weekly Food Market taking place every Saturday at the Old Fire Station on Holdenhurst Road. Open between 10am and 3pm, the market includes plenty of delicious local food & drink items to purchase – perfect if you are planning a feast at home!

Schpoons & Forx – Right in the centre of town, this fine restaurant is offering a 3 course lunch or dinner for £29.95 per person with a delicious range of locally sourced produce throughout the menu. Tasty options for children too.

Arbour Restaurant – Award winning restaurant offering seasonal and sustainable food with a delicious roast lunch for £17 per person for 2 courses or £20 for 3 courses.

Jenkins & Sons – delicious range of roasts on a set menu for £26 per person for 3 courses (including dauphinoise potatoes – my fav!)

Ojo Rojo – A different approach to Easter, Ojo Rojo serve a range of Mexcian street food inspired dishes and an impressive range of Mezcal!

Lolas – This top-rated Spanish Tapas restaurant is picking up awards all over the place. It may be small  but it is definitely worth the effort to book ahead.
