There is no better way to spend a wet & stormy Friday, than attend one of Christine’s many cookery courses. This was her South American Special, the food of Brazil!

Christine runs her courses in her quintessential English thatched cottage, nestled in the small village of Little Bredy. Everyone arrived for the start at 10am and the course ran until 15:30, so plenty of time to cook & enjoy the day…!

We cooked a whole range of Brazilian dishes, some heavily influenced by Portuguese food. At the end of the day, we all sat down to enjoy the dishes. They were all absolutely delicious, washed down with the help of a coconut cocktail, that had a kick!!

Throughout the day Christine shared with us her huge knowledge of food and it’s preparation, providing us with some great hints & tips. Each dish was meticulously planned with precise measurements & instruction.

The course went very smoothly and at a relaxed pace, with plenty of nibbles & drinks throughout the day. You could be as hands-on or as hands-off as you like, either way you will learn an awful lot from Christine. She runs courses all year, so head over to her website and book one today!

I should also like to say a big thank you to Lisa, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, preparing ingredients, topping up our drinks (water!) & clearing up our mess!
