Durley Chine is my ‘local’ beach and we often go there to make the most of living next to one of the UK’s best beaches. We have watched this new restaurant being built and now that it is open, we were very excited to visit and try it out!

They have done a beautiful job to make the most of the space and the beautiful view. There is plenty of seating upstairs and on the beach as well as huge folding doors to make the downstairs ‘open’ too.

The menu is full of light dishes, including fish,  salads, sandwiches and burgers, as well as a children’s menu. There is also a large range of hot and cold drinks as well as a range of wines, beers and ciders.

Downstairs there is a take-away kiosk onsite serving a range of hot food plus the requisite range of drinks and ice-creams!

All in all, this is a fabulous addition to one of Dorset’s finest beaches! I have seen it full in the summer with the doors open wide and the balcony full with people enjoying the sun’s rays with a beer in hand… and I have seen it full in winter as people huddle inside against some of Britain’s harsher climes – it has food and beverages perfect for both and definitely a beautiful view to boot.
